Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata has issued recruitment notice regarding recruitment of 06 Technical Asst & Scientist Posts.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be 31 years for Sr. No. 1 posts, 45 years for Sr. No. 2 & 3 posts, 50 years for Sr principal posts. The age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.Sc with one year full time professional qualification for Sr. No. 1 post, Ph.D in any branch of Chemical Sciences with post doctoral experience in the field of Chemical Biology for Sr. No. 2 posts & Ph.D in any branch of Life Sciences with post doctoral research experience in transcription and gene regulatory networks for Sr. No. 3 posts.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Bank Draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favor of Director, IICB payable at Kolkata (The application fee is exempted for PH Candidate)
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.
How to Apply: Candidates have to apply online from http://www.career.iicb.res.in/ on or before 14-06-2013. After Successful submission candidates have to send the hard copy with affixed photograph, signed in the designated place and get it attested by the Head of the Institution last attended or any Gazette Officer, DD, attested copies of supporting documents such as mark sheets, certificates, proof of date of birth, caste certificate etc. and mail it by super scribing the vacancy code on the envelope as “Application for the Vacancy Code No.__ to The Administrative Officer, Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, 4 Raja S.C. Mullick Road, Kolkata – 700032 on or before 21-06-2013.
Instructions for Online Applications:
1. First time users need to register themselves by clicking on ‘New Applicant Sign In’ from the Home Page.
2. Candidates are needed to type in a ‘User Id’ and a ‘password’ and fill up the details as required.
3. Click on ‘show details’ against the post to apply for.
4. On the bottom of the Advertisement, in the green bar, you will find four menus: ‘How to Apply’ , ‘Terms and Conditions’ , ‘Apply for this vacancy’ and ‘Close’. Click on ‘Terms and Conditions’.
5. After reading instructions click on ‘Apply for this vacancy’ at the bottom of the page.
6. The online application form will now open. You can start filling up the online application form.
7. Click on ‘submit’ after filling up the application form.
8. The screen will now show your application number and a menu called ‘Print Application Summary Sheet’. Please note down your application number and click on ‘Print Application Summary Sheet’.
9. Take a print out of the summary sheet.
10. Take Print of the hard copy and send it to the above mentioned address on or before 21-06-2013.
